1. Who these terms are with
Draft Sprite and The Draft Nook are operated in the United Kingdom by Ava Lily Studio ("we", "us" or "our"). Contact us at hello@thedraftnook.com.
By creating an account and accepting these terms, you agree to this agreement. If you use Draft Sprite for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that business.
2. What Draft Sprite provides
Draft Sprite is a seller workspace that can prepare listing copy, tags, mockups, digital print files, reusable shop settings and editable Etsy listing drafts. Features may change during the private beta.
Draft Sprite does not publish listings automatically. You decide whether and when to publish, and you must check the final listing in Etsy.
3. Accounts and security
- You must provide an email address you control and keep your password and email account secure.
- You must not share access in a way that compromises another person's data or bypasses limits.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our failure to use reasonable care.
4. Connecting Etsy
Connecting a shop gives Draft Sprite the Etsy API permissions shown on Etsy's authorisation screen, currently including permission to read shop and listing information, read relevant transaction information and create or update listing drafts.
You can disconnect a shop in Draft Sprite. You may also revoke access through Etsy. Disconnecting stops future API access but does not automatically remove every piece of copy or work you created in Draft Sprite.
You must use Etsy features in accordance with Etsy's own terms, policies and seller rules.
5. Your artwork and content
You keep ownership of artwork, files, shop copy and other content you upload. You give us a limited, non-exclusive permission to host, copy, resize, analyse and process that content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the service you request.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to use the content. Do not upload unlawful, infringing, harmful or confidential material, or personal data that is unnecessary for the service.
6. Generated content and seller responsibility
AI-generated titles, descriptions, tags, prompts, images and research can be inaccurate, incomplete, similar to other material or unsuitable for a particular listing. We do not guarantee search ranking, sales, originality, policy compliance or commercial results.
You are responsible for checking the artwork, ownership, title, description, tags, prices, variations, production-partner details, AI disclosures, delivery promises, tax settings and any other information before publishing.
7. Digital listings
Draft Sprite can create five print-ratio ZIP files, create an editable Etsy draft and attach the generated files through Etsy's API. If an attachment fails, Draft Sprite shows the affected files and provides downloads so you can retry or attach them manually before publishing.
Check every generated file, crop, resolution, filename, description and download instruction before sale. You are responsible for ensuring the buyer receives the product described.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the service to infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights;
- upload malware, probe security, scrape the service or attempt unauthorised access;
- misrepresent generated content, shop information or product details;
- resell access, overload the service or use automation that disrupts it; or
- use Draft Sprite in a way that breaches Etsy's rules or applicable law.
9. Private-beta pricing, cancellation and refunds
The current private beta is free. No card is required, there is no paid subscription to cancel, and no refund is due for free beta use.
We will not convert a free beta account into a paid subscription automatically. Before any paid plan begins, we will show the price, billing interval, usage limits, renewal and cancellation terms, and any applicable digital-service cancellation information. A paid plan will require your clear confirmation.
If a payment is ever taken in error, contact hello@thedraftnook.com. Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights.
10. Availability and changes
The beta may contain faults, experience interruptions or change without notice. We will use reasonable care in operating it, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every Etsy or third-party feature will remain compatible.
We may suspend access to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law or maintain the service. Where practical, we will give notice of material changes.
11. Our intellectual property
We own or license the Draft Sprite service, software, brand, original interface, templates and supporting content. These terms do not transfer that intellectual property to you. You may use generated listing output and mockups for your own lawful shop activity, subject to third-party rights and any feature-specific notice.
12. Third-party services
Draft Sprite depends on services including Etsy, Supabase, Vercel, Render, AI providers, Google and Photopea. Their own terms and privacy practices apply when you use them. We are not responsible for changes, outages or decisions made by a third-party platform, but we remain responsible for our own obligations under applicable law.
13. Etsy notice
The term 'Etsy' is a trademark of Etsy, Inc. This Application uses Etsy's API, but is not endorsed or certified by Etsy.
DISCLAIMER: THIS APPLICATION IS SOLELY PROVIDED BY AVA LILY STUDIO (THE "APPLICATION DEVELOPER"). YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT ETSY, INC. AND ITS AFFILIATES ARE NOT THE APPLICATION DEVELOPER, DO NOT PROVIDE THE APPLICATION SERVICE, AND MAKE NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND WITH RESPECT TO THE APPLICATION OR DATA ACCESSED THROUGH IT.
14. Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights.
Subject to that, we are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, lost sales, lost ranking, Etsy account action, or loss caused by inaccurate user input, unreviewed generated content, third-party outages or a breach of these terms. During the free beta, our total liability arising from the service is limited to £100 where the law allows.
15. Ending use and data
You can stop using Draft Sprite at any time and disconnect Etsy. Email us to request account deletion. We may end or suspend an account that materially breaches these terms, creates security risk or exposes us or others to legal harm.
Deletion and retention are handled as described in the Privacy Notice. Download anything you need before requesting deletion.
16. Law and changes to these terms
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory protections and right to bring proceedings available under the law where you live.
We may update these terms as the beta develops. We will give reasonable notice of material changes and ask you to accept new terms where required.
